Based on the concept of green and environmentally friendly economy, Hebei Meixi Biological Co., Ltd. proposed to use magnesite as raw material and use ammonium nitrate circulation method to prepare magnesium carbonate of different morphologies and sizes, and explore the relationship between morphology and application performance (such as adsorption performance, photocatalytic performance, etc.). Finally, the cyclic template method was used to successfully synthesize a hierarchical structure TiO2/SiO2 composite material using homemade flower-shaped basic magnesium carbonate (MCH) as a template.

Preparation of high-purity magnesium carbonate from magnesite. Lightly calcined powder reacts with ammonium nitrate solution at 105-110℃ to obtain magnesium nitrate solution, which is used as raw material liquid to prepare magnesium carbonate trihydrate of different sizes through pyrolysis reaction or precipitation reaction with ammonium bicarbonate or ammonium carbonate solution. During the entire reaction process, the ammonium nitrate solution can be recycled.
