Messi Biology : Process for producing nano magnesium oxide from hydromagnesite

Hebei Messi Biology Co., Ltd. stated that it uses hydromagnesite from Bange Lake in Nagqu, Tibet to produce high-purity nano magnesium oxide. This method uses the principle of chemical reaction. First, hydromagnesite is calcined to obtain magnesium oxide, which is reacted with sulfuric acid and filtered to obtain a magnesium sulfate solution. A neutralizer and an oxidant are used to purify the solution to obtain a purified magnesium sulfate solution. One part is added with ammonium bicarbonate and a surfactant, and high-purity nano magnesium oxide is obtained after calcination. The other part is heated and decomposed by heating the filtrate containing ammonium sulfate obtained in the previous step with light-burned powder to obtain flame-retardant grade magnesium hydroxide. After filtering in the reactor, environmentally friendly grade magnesium hydroxide is obtained, and the filtrate is reused without emission.

magnesium oxide

Fibrous magnesium hydroxide, basic magnesium carbonate and high-purity nano magnesium oxide are widely used in flame retardancy, smoke suppression, filling and reinforcement of rubber and plastic products; they can also be used as insulation and high-temperature resistant insulation materials; they can also be used in the manufacture of optical glass, electronic ceramics, 5G electronic components, aerospace and other fields.

Hydromagnesite is a unique mineral resource of Bangecuo Lake in Nagqu, Tibet. It is a natural basic magnesium carbonate with abundant reserves, simple mining technology and clean mining process. Based on hydromagnesite, environmentally friendly products such as low-smoke and halogen-free mineral flame retardant materials, industrial wastewater treatment agents, industrial desulfurization/fixed sulfur agents, smoke suppressants, inorganic mineral fillers, and new wall materials for humidity control and formaldehyde removal can be developed. Hebei Messi Biology Co., Ltd. relies on the hydromagnesite resources of Bangecuo Lake in Nagqu, Tibet to develop, manufacture and sell various magnesium salt series products of hydromagnesite.
