In recent years, scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research on the recovery of cobalt from cobalt mines and have achieved phased results. With the increasing reduction of global mineral resources and the inherent deficiencies of existing low-grade cobalt ore processing technology, it is particularly urgent and significant to seek a method for efficiently recovering cobalt from low-grade cobalt mines.

In order to overcome the shortcomings of existing technologies, a new type of active magnesium oxide efficient cobalt extraction process was studied, which can not only efficiently recover cobalt from low-grade cobalt mines, but also reduce the recovery cost and is easy to implement, providing broad space and technical support for the development of low-grade cobalt mines. The task of the present invention is accomplished by the following technical scheme: a method for efficiently recovering cobalt from low-grade cobalt ore, which adopts a combined process including leaching-iron removal-manganese removal-two-stage cobalt precipitation with the aid of self-produced cobalt precipitation slag and a two-in-one oxidant to obtain qualified cobalt hydroxide, thereby realizing the utilization of low-grade cobalt ore resources.
