Messi Biology : Geological environment of hydromagnesite production

Hebei Messi Biology Co., Ltd. stated that hydromagnesite is a rare mineral with a very limited distribution and does not accumulate on a large scale. Therefore, it is of certain significance to explore its mineral properties and formation conditions.

Although hydromagnesite was discovered a long time ago, there has been no official report on this in my country. At the same time, it is known that in Czechoslovakia, Italy, the United States, France and the Soviet Union, this mineral is produced in magnesian ultrabasic rocks (altered product serpentinite) and magnesite, which are low-temperature hydrothermal and secondary products. Accompanied by magnesite, fibrous magnesite and serpentine.

magnesium oxide

The hydromagnesite we have seen is produced in the boron magnesite serpentinite formed by the alteration of dolomite magnesite marble. Its enrichment area is only a few meters away from the surface, which is caused by surface action. The dislocation is developed here, and the boron magnesite serpentinite is dislocated into brecciated state, and holes are produced. Phlogopite and chlorite are filled along the holes, and hydromagnesite occurs in the residual holes that have not been filled. The formation environment of hydromagnesite is free space. It mostly grows vertically or obliquely to the cave wall. It is sometimes covered with a layer of calcite film, and the outermost is residual holes. It is difficult to see its appearance in the dislocation and undeveloped areas of the same alteration body.
