The Geological Environment of Messi Biology Hydromagnesite Ore

Although hydromagnesite was discovered a long time ago, there has been no official report in this regard in our country. At the same time, it is known that in Czechoslovakia, Italy, the United States, France and the Soviet Union, this mineral is produced in magnesia ultrabasic rocks (altered product serpentinite) and magnesite, and is a low-temperature hydrothermal and secondary product. It is accompanied by brucite, fiber magnesite and serpentine.

The hydromagnesite we see occurs in boronite serpentinite formed by the alteration of dolomitic magnesite marble. Its enriched area is only a few meters away from the surface, which is caused by supergene effect. The staggering is developed here, and the boron-magnesite serpentinite is staggered into breccia, and there are holes. Phlogopite and chlorite are filled successively along the pores, and hydromagnesite occurs in the remaining pores that have not been filled. The formation environment of hydromagnesite is free space, and it mostly grows vertically or obliquely to the wall of the cave, and sometimes it is covered with a layer of calcite film, and the outermost is residual pores. It is difficult to see its appearance in the staggered agenesis section of the same alteration body.

Hebei Messi Biology Co., Ltd. hydromagnesite is a rare mineral with a very limited distribution and no large-scale accumulation. Therefore, it is meaningful to discuss its mineral properties and formation conditions.
